Thank you, Gene. It’s a town full of resilient people. The majestic mountains are not going anywhere and I’m confident that Jasper’s people will remain, rebuild, and re-establish the town I love!

I had forgotten you lived in Jasper as a tyke. Thank you for this story! I live in Edmonton now and have acquaintances in Jasper that have lost everything. Last summer my niece lost her home in wild fires in West Kelowna. Always care!

Well, it was a few lifetimes ago since I was a tyke, so I’ll forgive your forgetfulness. 😂

It’s so tragic that we now all have family or friends who have lost homes in wildfires.
